1099 Estimator

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using 1099 Estimator (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Not professional advice

1099 Estimator provides estimates for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not, and must not be relied upon as, tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Tax laws are complex and change frequently, and your individual circumstances may produce materially different results. Always consult a qualified tax professional and the IRS before making financial or tax decisions.

Accuracy and estimates

We base calculations on current, authoritative sources (IRS, SSA, and published inflation adjustments) and use the final 2025 and 2026 federal figures, but we make no warranty that results are accurate, complete, or current. Tax rules change, and the calculator currently estimates federal taxes only — it does not include state or local income taxes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1099 Estimator and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its results. You use the Service at your own risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
